Bangkok, March 1st, 2025 — Bangkok Metropolitan Investigation Police, along with officers from Phetkasem Police Station, raided an illegal e-cigarette warehouse in Bangkok’s Bang Khae district, seizing over 30 million baht worth of contraband.

Armed with a search warrant from the Thonburi Criminal Court, police searched a four-story commercial building following a tip-off about illegal goods being stored there overnight.

According to the police, the raid uncovered 343,600 e-liquid pods and 10,000 disposable e-cigarettes, with the lower floor holding 227,200 units worth 22.7 million baht and the upper floors containing 116,400 units valued at 11.6 million baht.

A male suspect (whose name was withheld by the police) was arrested at the scene and admitted to transporting goods but claimed he was unaware of their contents.

Authorities emphasized that cracking down on e-cigarettes is a national priority and vowed to trace the supply chain to its source. The seized goods will be used as evidence as the investigation continues.
