Thai drivers now competing in all 3 levels of FIA racing
The elevation of Thai driver Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak to the ranks of Formula 2 racing means Thailand is now represented at all three levels of FIA single-seat racing, a significant milestone for Thai motorsport.
ART Grand Prix confirmed on Tuesday that Tasanapol will join the squad for the 2026 FIA Formula 2 season.

The Thai driver progressed from FIA Formula 3, where he finished seventh in the Drivers Standings this season, with three race victories and two additional top-five finishes.
The opening round of the 2026 F2 season is scheduled for the Albert Park Circuit in Australia on March 7-8, 2026.
Tasanapol’s promotion completes a full representation of Thai drivers across the FIA hierarchy.
It was confirmed last month that Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi will drive for DAMS Lucas Oil in the 2026 Formula 3 season, while Alex Albon currently holds eighth position in the Formula 1 Drivers Championship.

In line with international practice, Tasanapol will race under his family name, Inthraphuvasak.
